All library patrons must present their library card to borrow items. Current Clark College students and employees may use their College ID card (students may acquire one through the Bookstore) as their library card, but may also choose to sign up for a separate library card. Library cards may not be shared.
To sign up for a library card, patrons must agree to comply with the complete Borrowing Policy and provide the following:
- Current Clark College students, faculty, and staff must show valid photo ID.
- Foundation staff, Emeriti, College in the High School instructors, and Special Patrons (Board of Trustees) must fill out a borrower registration form, and have their identity and status verified by the authorizing authority.
- Orbis Cascade/Summit visitors must bring valid photo ID, fill out a borrower registration form, and demonstrate they are in good standing at their home institution by logging into their home institutional library account. If the photo ID does not include it, applicants must also provide proof of current address. This includes EWU students even if their program is taught at the Clark College campus.
- Community patrons (includes alumni) must be at least 16 years old, present valid photo ID, fill out a borrower registration form. If the photo ID does not include it, applicants must also provide proof of current address within service district 14.
